The ASSURE Life Vest is worn outside the body and is connected to the patient’s chest by adhesive patches. The device continuously monitors the patient’s heart rhythm and can deliver a shock if it detects a life-threatening arrhythmia. The ASSURE Life Vest is also equipped with a speaker and microphone so that the patient can communicate with emergency services if needed.
